The sweet shop

They both enter the little sweet store
Two little girls, no older than four.
One has a pink purse, the other is blue,
One has four coins, the other has two.

As they look at the sweets their eyes gleam so bright
As they see all the goodies, such a beautiful sight,
The smallest girl with her purse of blue
Sees the other girl with her coins, only two.

This caring little girl has a think
And she looks at the other with her purse of pink
Then she hands her a coin so they each have three
And now they can both buy a piece of candy.
